Preschool Program
Our indoor and outdoor programs are well planned planned to suit the needs individual child, based on their needs, interests and focuses on helping your child grow and develop to be physically active, social, well confident, competent and independent personality by meeting all of the learning outcomes of EYLF.
Our Indoor and Outdoor Programs includes
- Group activities – it allows your child to participate and work together as a respected team member.
- Educational play - it allows your child to make their own choice and decisions.
- Free Play- it allows your child to choose the play or activity of their own interest and develop their own imagination and thinking.
- Art / craft - allows for your child to challenge their creativity and experiment with a variety of medium where your child will explore their sensory skills.
- Technology Use – it allows your child to learn the electronic media using technology such as Lap top, computer and iPads.
- Indoor / outdoor play – it allows your child to explore and participate in different types of environment and play, and learn to behave appropriately in the different types of environment.
- Performances – it allows your child to build on their confidence to be in front of a group of people whilst learning to follow instructions.
Inclusion Support Program
We welcome child with additional needs such as speaking/communication, physical disability, autism and support them for their development by coordinating with government authorised agency KU Services.
Our staff
All our staff is well qualified and very good to look after children and each individual needs. All our staff is caring, welcoming and enthusiastic.
We have team of 10 staff :
- Director
- Nominated Supervisors
- Educators - having their degree in Early Childhood, Diploma in Children Services, Certificate III in children services and or are trainees.
- Casual support workers.
We serve freshly cooked meals our children which includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late afternoon tea (for late going children). The daily fees includes all meals. The well known company provides healthy food to our service everyday in the morning which meets Australian healthy eating guidelines. We provide food to our children considering allergic, vegetarian or religious beliefs.
Centrelink Fees Benefits
We have Childcare Subsidy (CCS) and JET assistance available for eligible families through Centrelink
Hours of Operation
Our service is open from Mondays to Friday, 7am to 6pm and 52 weeks a year. Our service is closed only on public holidays. We are very close to Doonside Train station and Bus stop (5 mins walk).
Car parking
There is parent and staff car park available on the premise. Also plenty car parking is available on our Street
Community Programs
We organise different celebrations and programs such as celebration of cultural festivals and days, Christmas parties for parents and children to strengthen the relation between all staff, children and parents. We also make donations to Westmead Children hospital, cancer foundation, RSPCA cake day, etc.
Sustainability Practices/ Environmental protection
We teach our children reuse and recycle items that we use in our daily life, develop the sense of social responsibility and caring towards our planet. We have implemented no. of sustainability practices in our services such as use of recycled items for art and craft activities, worm composting, etc.
